HOW BEAUTY INJECTABLES USED IN COSMETOLOGY?
Facial injections (also called beauty injections) are literally injections to the face: vitamins, hyaluronic acid, fillers and other anti-aging drugs aimed at reducing certain skin imperfections. Fillers and Injections are very popular in cosmetology, as they do not injure the skin, aimed to work directly on the problem and have a wide range of applications.
The most common indications for prescribing a course of anti-aging facial injections include:
the first signs of skin aging: the appearance of mimic and shallow wrinkles, age spots, loss of firmness and elasticity;
age-related changes: loss of clarity of the oval of the face, moderate sagging of the skin, the presence of pronounced wrinkles;
signs of dryness and / or dehydration of the skin, the appearance of lines of dehydration, peeling;
excess oily skin, acne and acne marks, enlarged pores; dull or uneven complexion, signs of vitamin deficiency; pronounced asymmetry of any parts of the face (most often the lips).
Beauty Injections have quite a few contraindications: first of all, it is an allergy to the components of the administered drugs, as well as chronic endocrine diseases, oncology, acute infectious and inflammatory processes, pregnancy and lactation.
WHAT TYPES OF INJECTIONS EXIST AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM.
Modern injections in cosmetology are aimed at restoring the skin’s own resources, correcting mimic and age wrinkles, and replenishing the lost volume of the face.
List of beauty injections’ names is quite wide as every product is aimed to target different types of imperfections.
Anti-Age Injections is the most popular and demanded cosmetic procedure. Anti-Age Injections therapy drugs work by reducing muscle activity. However, don’t worry, your facial expressions will remain, but without wrinkles and dermal creases! You can smile, laugh, show other emotions, but without wrinkles.

Where can Anti-Age Injections be injected?

Fillers based on hyaluronic acid are injected into the tissues to create additional volume. The procedure is painless, it takes 30-60 minutes, after which you can immediately start your daily activities.
This is the first drug in the world that combines the effects of lifting and moisturizing at the same time. This synergy is called Hydrolift.
The preparation is based on hyaluronic acid with low and high molecular weight in equal proportions. This is a special hybrid technology developed and patented by IBSA scientists.
Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid moisturizes the skin and gives a reinforcing effect.
High molecular weight improves local blood circulation, stimulates the production of collagen and provides tissue lifting. This is achieved due to the accumulation of water molecules around the high molecular weight acid.
In general, Profhilo activates the vital activity of not only fibroblasts and keratinocytes, but also adipocytes (fat cells), maintains their viability, which leads to the restoration of its own subcutaneous fat, the deficit of which is determined with age.
The Profhilo achieves an easy, dynamic increase in soft tissue volume and an impressive improvement in skin quality. After the injection of the Profhilo into the skin, the skin quickly recovers, the risk of inflammation and complications is reduced to zero.
High fluidity allows the drug components to freely pass through the subcutaneous tissue and dermis, which is inaccessible to traditional fillers with hyaluronic acid. The Profhilo is ideal for injecting into anatomically difficult areas, such as forehead, neck, submandibular areas.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR INJECTION?
Here are the basic guidelines that work for almost all types of injections to the face: for skin rejuvenation, facial hydration, wrinkles and other possible blemishes on the face:
10-14 days before the procedure, avoid exposure to the sun and sunburn, use SPF products;
Do not consume alcohol or smoke 2-3 days before the appointment;
1-2 days prior treatment, try to refuse to take medications that can provoke vasodilation, such as aspirin or fish oil tablets.
WHAT IS THE FACIAL INJECTION PROCEDURES PROTOCOL?
The procedures themselves are quite similar and are not particularly difficult for specialists. Here is an approximate order of their actions:
Consultation with a beautician, during which the specialist assesses the condition of the skin, selects the drug and determines the required number of procedures.
Disinfection: cleansing the skin from make-up and daytime dirt and disinfecting the injection areas with antiseptics.
Anesthesia (if necessary): An anesthetic gel or other anesthetic is applied to the face.
Direct injection: subcutaneous injection of drugs manually, or using special devices with microneedles.
Re-disinfection of the skin and post-procedure care.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR INJECTIONS
Injections in cosmetology are not recommended if you have any of the following:
oncology
autoimmune diseases
blood clotting disorders
cold
Another popular question women ask: is it possible to do beauty injections in cosmetology during pregnancy and breastfeeding? Pregnancy and lactation are relative contraindications. During this period, we recommend to women to focus on their wellbeing and postpone cosmetic manipulations.
MYTHS ABOUT FILLERS
Myth 1: filler can spread all over the face
The filler never spreads over the face. A human’s face is conventionally divided into many zones – the drug cannot move from one to another. Moreover, high-quality fillers tend to get fixed, they are “fixed” in the tissues and get overgrown with collagen.
Myth 2: fillers cause swelling
Only improperly injected fillers can cause severe swelling. If the filler is injected deep enough, then this is physiologically impossible. However, everything is individual, and there are a number of patients with a genetic predisposition to edema. In this case, after visiting a beautician, you should limit yourself in food and drink, which cause additional swelling.
Myth 3: fillers are for life.
Each person has individual filler durability, but in practice – the effect lasts up to one and a half years, sometimes a little more. The durability of a filler depends on how the body breaks down hyaluronic acid and similar components. In simple words, the quicker metabolism you have, the quicker fillers will dissolve.

I recently completed a 6 session lower leg laser hair removal treatment at Moda Donna Clinic and overall my experience is very positive. I've had my Laser Hair Removal, Permanent Make Up and Eyelashes done and honestly they provide a best service. I had a fibroblast treatment here recently and I was very happy with the whole experience. They insist on a patch test first which many places don't and Laura explained everything very carefully and was professional and pleasant during the treatment. I wish I had understood that if I had added on more 'areas' on the day of my treatment that the price would be less than if I booked again later. The offers they have are really very good.

This salon is something special. Really well located if you work in Canary Wharf - just get on the D8 towards CrossHarbour and get off at Harbour Exchange Square.
