It is one of the preferred techniques of Beauty Centres’ aestheticians for many reasons. It is a safe and effective technique when it is accompanied by an application protocol, as in this way we stimulate the rejuvenation of the skin in a natural way with visible results without altering the facial features.

Dermatech Pen is an automatic micro-puncture device developed by Germaine de Capuccini. Unlike others, the experts from Germaine de Capuccini have developed an exclusive application method after a long period of trials that have resulted in a unique therapy, minimally invasive, effective and safe.
This technique is based on the skin’s capacity to self-regenerate naturally. The aesthetician will personalise the treatment depending on the skin type and needs.
The applicator has 36 ultra-fine micro-needles that carry out micro-punctures on the skin, stimulating the liberation of growth factors that favour the skin regeneration process, increase collagen and elastin production and generate an improvement of the quality and texture of the skin.

Apart from being a totally personalised treatment, the results are visible in very little time: global anti-ageing, firmness, fading of expression lines and wrinkles, revitalisation of the face, more homogeneous tone and improvement of the skin’s texture (thick skin with open pore).

It is an ideal treatment for those who look for a global rejuvenation of the face.
It is very recommendable for youthful skin that wants to recover the face after the summer, as it is highly recommended for pallid and dull skin.
The only skin that cannot benefit from this therapy is sensitive skin.

The ideal is to carry out 4 sessions (1 every two weeks). Once finished, to maintain the results it is advisable to carry out 1 session every 4 weeks.
To achieve incredibly radiant skin, in alternate weeks we recommend carrying out the in-booth treatment suited to the problem being treated.

Generally it is the best to wait 4-6 weeks between treatments. There is no advantage to scheduling your treatments closer together even if you do not see immediate results. The laser only targets hair in the growth phase. The next growth phase is generally in 4-6 weeks.

Thanks to the application method developed by the Germaine de Capuccini experts the therapy with Dermatech Pen is painless, it is even pleasant, according to the tests carried out on volunteers.
The pain threshold is very personal. In some of the tests the volunteers informed of “a certain uncomfortable sensation” on the facial areas where the bone is nearer, such as the forehead.

PRE-TREATMENT CARE?

Four  weeks before your treatment stop using the following products and procedures:

  • Boτox or fillers (4 weeks before)
  • Waxing or Electrolysis (2 weeks before)
  • Exfoliators that may be drying (1 week before)
  • Products with Retinol, AHAs, BHAs or Benzyl Peroxide (1 week bfore)
  • Sunbeds or sunbathing (2 weeks before)
  • Depilatory creams (2 weeks before)
  • Self-immune topical treatments (24 hours before)
  • Treatments that produce skin hypersensitivity (4 weeks before)

POST-TREATMENT CARE?

For 48 hours after: Avoid using products containing Alcohol, Retinol, AHAs or BHAs

For 12 hours after: Avoid applying make-up

For 7 days after: Avoid direct sunlight or using an exfoliator

For 24 hours after: Avoid intense physical exercise

For two weeks after: Do not have another aggressive treatment (Hands on facial can be carried out one week later)
