PRIVATE & GROUP YOGA CLASSES

All classes are available for private one-on-one class and for private couples class as well.

These classes focus on the fine details of yoga postures and breathing, working on both your body and the mind. Generally, our yoga classes start with meditation and pranayama (manipulation of the breath) and warm-up postures, followed by standing and seated asanas, and a relaxing savasana to finish. You’ll hold postures longer than in a flowing vinyasa class, so you can explore the technical aspects and the effects internally. Teachers of this class come from a variety of backgrounds and will have their own individual way of teaching.
Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as the teacher adapts the class according to the students.

A stilling practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses. An antidote to urban life, Yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). Poses are held for long periods, allowing the student to relax as they express patience and quiet.
Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as the teacher adapts the class according to the students.

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic practice and one of the most popular forms of yoga in the world. Vinyasa is a technique that synchronises breath with movement so in this class you will flow through a sequence of postures, which will differ teacher to teacher.

      Padabhyanga – Pada in Sanskrit means foot and Abhyanga means massage. This a soothing and calming massage,involving five of the 107 healing energy points in the body (Marmas) that are equivalent to acupuncture points in Chinese medicine. The energy points are located in the foot and often clogged with negative energy.

      Padabhyanga is known to be very beneficial for balancing the Doshas (biological energies that are present in a person’s body according to Ayurveda). This treatment is recommended to people suffering from frequent cramps, chronic fatigue, and various sleeping disorders, including insomnia. It is also assisting in easing the symptoms of anxiety, depression, diabetic neuropathy, insomnia, epilepsy, high blood pressure, sprains, stress, cracked feet, tired feet, sciatica and back pain.

            Swedish massage is the most popular type of massage and most-known type of bodywork performed today. Its primary goal is to relax the entire body by rubbing and kneading the soft tissues such as first layers of muscles, tendons and ligaments. This is done by using light pressure with long gliding strokes along the direction of blood returning to the heart.

            Abhyanga — in Sanskrit means massage. Abhyanga helps the skin to perform its diverse functions efficiently. Regular treatment relieves fatigue, improves stamina sleep, enhances the complexion and lustre of the skin as well as promotes longevity.

            It allows for toxins to be released from the body and for nourishment to be absorbed by the tissues. It improves transdermal absorption of the healing qualities of the oils in the massage.

            The massage is done with sesame or herbal oils and it is balancing the Doshas (biological energies that are present in a person’s body according to Ayurveda).

              Chiro (Xiro) is a preventive and rejuvenating face, neck and décolleté massage. 

              The technique was developed by Professor Enrique Garcia Castells, Professor of Manual Therapy “INMASTER”.

              The treatment involves the systems of the body that activate healthy and beautiful appearance.

              Mainly:

              • nervous system – system relaxation increases resistance to stress
              • skin –outermost layer of the epidermis is removed, production of new cells is accelerated and skin elasticity is increased (firmness).

              The effect of the anti-aging facial massage can be seen after the very first massage session. Pregnancy(Prenatal) massages are adapted and designed for the anatomical changes the body is going  through during pregnancy and suitable for women that are 12 weeks pregnant or more (massages should be avoided during the first three months of pregnancy as it may trigger dizziness and add to morning sickness).

                  Sports massage is an important part of any physical training. Sports massage helps to prevent injuries by keeping muscles mobile and elastic. It also helps to preserve muscle condition and health. It shortens the recovery time between workouts by improving oxygen and nutrients flow as well as flushing out toxins in muscles that have been pushed hard.

                  Sports massage also helps to speed up injury recovery time. Untreated injuries can cause build-up of scar tissue in the injured areas which can also spread and damage healthy tissue.

                  Sports massage uses techniques to break down scar tissue to prevent further pain and additional damage.

                  A typical Sports Massage session  consists of strokes to the deep tissue, stretching and active or passive movement of the joints.

                    Whilst having some of the same benefits as the Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage is very effective in releasing chronic muscle tension.The treatment focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascias (the protective layer around muscles), bones and joints.

                    Unlike Swedish massage, that uses light pressure, Deep Tissue massage is done using deep pressure with strokes that are firm and slow.

                    Deep tissue massage has several therapeutic effects and can be used to treat different musculoskeletal issues. It is ideal for the treatment of major muscle groups like the neck or lower back. This technique can also be used to relieve strain and treat injuries in the joints and tendons.
